Changes at ETSU
There will be a change in the ETSU Foundation as Dr. Richard Manahan, who directs the foundation steps down starting July first. Manahan started at the University in 1981 as the school’s VP for finance and administration. He is credited for taking the foundation from negative numbers to the over 100-million dollars in the foundation at the present time. Even though he is leaving as head of the foundation, you will still see Manahan around ETSU, he plans to go back into the classroom. He is a tenured professor in the department of accountancy. He will go back to teaching full time, which is something he has been interested in for a long time. (CC)
