Woman Arrested Lying to Police
She called police and said her husband had a gun. 59-year old Cordelia Ann O’Quinn then told the dispatcher that she couldn’t talk and hung up. When police arrived to her Witchita Street home, they found that O’Quinn and her husband had been arguing and also drinking. Both told police officers that neither of them had touched a firearm. O’Quinn denied telling the 911 dispatcher about the gun. After listening to the call again, Johnson City police officers decided to arrest O’Quinn for filing a false report. She’ll have an initial court appearance this afternoon.
