KPD Busts Meth Makers
A tip lead to an investigation by Kingsport’s Vice Unit. Police say a van driven by Cody Jeffers would park in different Kingsport pharmacies. Detectives say Jeffers and Brandon Brown would make suspicious purchases of Sudafed while at the pharmacies. When officers tried to speak with them, Jeffers tried to hide some meth. Brown was in the back of the van with the Sudafed and other meth making items. Both were arrested on meth charges. Their Hawkins County Court date has not been released.
