Animal Director Resigns
A change in the direction of the way a combined Bluff City, Sullivan County, Kingsport Animal Shelter is going has resulted in the resignation of the Director of SBK. Richard Crino resigned effective mid-June after serving as the Director for the last two years. Crino’s resignation package included two months salary, a week long vacation, and paid unused leave time. A new search will begin to fill the Director’s position but board members say they are in no hurry to fill the position. (CC)
