Grant to combat bat disease
Hate mosquitoes? You’ll be glad to know that Tennessee and Kentucky have just netted 45 grand each to save bats from a lethal disease. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service program has awarded grants to 28 states in an effort to wipe out the disease that has killed more than 5.7 million bats. (GW)
