Torbush on the Payroll
The first ETSU head football coach in a decade started on the payroll this week. Coach Carl Torbush hit the ground running with public relations as a top priority. He placed emphasis in keeping the excitement going for the football program and wants to meet as many people as possible. The next order of business is recruiting players for the Fall, 20-15 kickoff. He needs coaches to help recruit and the clock is running as the pre-season camps are about to start. The former North Carolina head coach and Kansas City Royal baseball player - is hoping to competitively recruit against schools like Appalachian, Furman, Tennessee Tech and UT Chattanooga. (gw)
