Tea Party's Optics
The Southwest Virginia Tea Party met Thursday evening and talked of optics and alliances. PR committee chair James Baker explains: “The tea party has more in common with freedom loving, ultra liberal hippies, than with the GOP rino’s. The difference in the freedom loving far right and the freedom loving far left is what they want to do with their freedom. Whether you want to spend your time listening to acid rock or bluegrass, neither one of them wants the government telling them how to live their lives.” Local Tea Parties have been more active since recent scandals have dominated the news.
