Afton Murder Arrest
Greene County authorities have charged an Oakland Park man with first-degree murder in connection with the stabbing death of 36-year-old Scotty Wayne Tilson. He was stabbed to death at a Mary Laymonís Rd. residence June 30th. Deputies discovered the victim in the home and Tilson named 47-year-old Phil Guinn as the man who stabbed him. Guinn was arrested Thursday night and is being held in the Greene County Detention Center on a half-million dollar bond pending a preliminary hearing scheduled for August 12th.(cs)
