Drunken Johnson City man charge with carjacking
Johnson City Police have charge 21 year Jimmy Rene Arnold with carjacking, aggravated assault and possession of drug paraphernalia. Reports say that when a friend found him drunk on her couch and told him he had to leave her apartment, he hit her with a baseball bat. She and a friend got him out. He then pulled a knife on another woman, demanded her car keys, and threatened to kill her. When she told him she was going to pepper spray him, Arnold ran off. Police found him and after talking to witnesses, arrested him. He is being held on a ten thousand dollar bond. (gw)
