A Johnson City woman was killed during a hit-and-run incident in South Carolina. Investigators say the collision happened Friday evening as 75-year old Janice Patterson was in town visiting family. Patterson was in a golf cart with three other people when they were hit from behind. Police have charged a 36-year-old James Bloodworth II. He originally left the scene, but was arrested several hours after the wreck when his family called authorities.
