Possible flood damage help from feds
Last Wednesday’s flooding did a lot of damage to some area homes and business’s. Those affected are waiting to see if there might be federal help. Sullivan County Emergency Management director Jim Bean says that there must be at least 8.6 million in damages for the state and one half million for Sullivan county before the feds get involved. He says you can call Sullivan county EMA for more information. The county’s number is 423-323-6912.(gw)
