DUI Charges Pending After Woman's Car Hits House
We told you yesterday about a car losing control and hitting a house in Johnson City. Now, police say the woman driving the car will be charged with DUI. 21-year old Jessica Myers hit the house at the corner of University Parkway and Hamilton Street. Police say the home owned by Debi Posavas was hit so hard, the impact caused an 8-month old baby to fly across the room. The baby has been checked out by at Nicewonger’s Children’s Hospital and is okay. Myers has been admitted to the hospital for treatment. The family’s home was damaged so badly they’ve have to move out.
