Carter County Passes Budget with Tax Increase
Despite a veto from Mayor Leon Humphrey, the Carter County Commission voted to pass their budget this morning. The budget includes an 18-cent property tax increase. Humphrey said last week that the tax in crease would impact economic development in the county.
