Utah man accused of murdering Tazwell VA boy
A Tazewell VA man lost his son in a custody agreement and ten days later the boy died in Utah. A Utah judge has ruled that the step dad, 34-year-old Nathanael Sloop, will stand trial for the murder of four year old Ethan Stacey. Prosecutors say that after Sloop and his wife malnourished and abused the boy for days until he died in May 2010, he then, is accused of using a hammer to disfigure Ethanís face and burying his body in the northern Utah mountains. The boys father said he had to give him up as part of a divorce custody agreement.(gw)
