Roe votes to curtail NSA
The U.S. House on Wednesday narrowly defeated a proposal to restrict the National Security Agency's phone surveillance program. East TN congressman Phil Roe says he voted for the restriction. He explained the reason is his concerned about the expansive powers of the FISA court, the Foreign Intelligence Court, where one judge has expansive powers, who decides behind closed doors. He believes 4th amendment rights could be threatened. Congressman Roe was not able to fully explain his concerns due to information coming form classified security briefings.
