Emergency Officials Conduct Drill with Local High School
Several law enforcement agencies are wrapping up a two day school safety training session today with a mass casualty exercise. Officers from Unicoi County, Erwin, the fire department, EMS and EMA have been working with the Unicoi County High School and training officers from Shooters Edge to prepare to handle an assault on a school. They’ll conduct a school assault drill in Unicoi County this morning to culminate the training.
