Teddy Gaines Joins the ETSU coaching team
He was outstanding at Dobyns-Bennett High School in Kingsport, then played on the Vols national championship team, later for the Bears and 49ers. Now hes a newly hired assistant coach for the upcoming ETSU Football team. Head coach Carl Torbush announced Wednesday that he has added Teddy Gaines to his assistant coaching staff and is expecting him to do a tremendous job working with the secondary and special teams, as well as helping with recruiting efforts both inside Tennessee and in the surrounding states. When Torbush was Head coach at North Carolina he lost Teddy Gaines to Tennessee in recruiting battles. Now hes happy to have him as an assistant coach at ETSU.(gw)
