Serious Crash Whle Texting
Virginia State Police have charged a 40-year-old Abingdon woman, Jennifer Street, with texting while driving in connection with a serious crash that occurred last week on Route 80 on Blackford Bridge over the Clinch River in Russell Co. Trooper K-K Davis says the woman was trapped in her car with the cell phone beside her. There was a three-month-old baby seriously injured in the accident as well as several other of the passengers in the collision. The accident is still under investigation.(CS)
