Victim Captures Robber Until Police Arrive
The victim and two other people were able to chase down a man they witnessed robbing cars in the Fall Street area of Johnson City. Witnesses called 911 to say they saw three men chasing another man. When police officers arrived they found the fourth man, 18-year old Marcus Wright had been restrained by the three men. Officers found several stolen items inside a backpack Wright was carrying and were able to locate at least one other victim. Wright was charged with auto burglary and will be in court this afternoon.
