Hawkins County School Evacuated
Bulls Gap School in Hawkins County was evacuated Thursday morning due to smoke coming out of the heating and air vents. There was an electrical problem discovered in one of the air-conditioning units. No one was hurt and Hawkins County Director of Schools, Charlotte Britton said their emergency plans worked smoothly. The students had lunch and then went home early.(gw)
