Parking fines kpt
If you are parking illegally in downtown Kingsport, or you stay longer than the short term parking allows, you will be paying more for the parking fines. The board of Mayor and Alderman has decided on a flat rate fee of 25-dollars per parking infraction. The board says the old system of tiered fines per parking infraction simply wasn’t working and they say implementing the new system should mean more short term parking spaces available for customers of downtown businesses. The free on the street short term parking spaces for downtown have a two-hour term limits. They say for those that want to stay a bit longer downtown there are several free all-day free parking lots available. (CC)
