Jonesborough woman shoots her sister-in law
Sister-in-laws at war. 32 year old Amanda Hartley shot her sister-in-law, 24 year old Kristin Cutshaw Bennett Friday morning around 1:30 am in a home at 181 Berry Ridge Road near Jonesborough. Washington County Sheriff, Ed Graybeal, said Bennett came at Hartley with a butcher knife and Hartley fired shots striking Bennett who was taken to an area hospital. He said the two had been feuding for a few weeks. Bennett will be charged pending her release from the hospital. The investigation will continue with more charges possible.
