JC Arrest in Attack
Johnson City police have arrested two people for charges of aggravated burglary, assault, and attempted rape. The incident happened August 22nd at the 600 block of St. Louis Street where they found the first victim with severe head lacerations. That person is still in medical treatment for those injuries. A short time later they found a second victim who told them she was sexually assaulted by the suspects, she was also taken to a local hospital. Arrested in the attack 21-year-old JanMichael Lingo of Chattanooga and 21-year-old Adrian Bizzell. The two were arrested after a traffic stop, they face these charges plus unrelated charges and both held in the county detention center on bond. Police say the investigation is ongoing. (CC)
