Drug Charges
Johnson City Police say one man is was arrested after a traffic stop led to the discovery of drugs in a car. It happened Tuesday night just before Midnight when blue Ford Mustang was pulled over on Hamilton Avenue for a possible DUI. When officers approached the window they say 49-year-old Jeffery Dalton tried to hide a pipe by throwing it into the floorboard of the car. A further search revealed several ounces of marijuana, open vodka bottles, and crack cocaine. Dalton was booked into the county detention center with several charges including possession with intent to resale and 5th offense DUI. (CC)
