New Parking Ordinance For JC
Johnson City officials are trying to improve driving conditions on City streets. The new ordinance prevents large vehicles like a tractor-trailer, buses or recreational vehicles from being parked on city streets for more than two consecutive hours, unless work is going on in the immediate area. Non-motorized equipment like boats, trailers, and campers canít be parked on city streets for more than eight hours, and the storage of property including portable containers canít be parked on city streets and rights-of-way.
