Bristol Tax Rate Increase
Bristol, Tennessee residents could being paying more in taxes after the City Council approves a 6-cent increase. If your home has increased in value from 2009 to 2013 you could be paying more property taxes. A reassessment of more than half of city properties this year spawned a look at the overall values which are 17 million dollars less than they were in 2009. (CC)
