THP Investigates Fatal Crash in Sullivan County
The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on Highway 36 from last night. Officials say 43-year old Michelle Simpson crossed the center lane of the Sullivan County highway then went off the shoulder into a ditch where she eventually hit a tree. Although the investigation is ongoing, the THP says they believe Simpson may have been driving under the influence.
