Vandalism Arrest
Johnson City Police say a 21-year-old man is in custody for Felony Vandalism and Resisting Arrest. Officers were called to a home on the 13-hundred block of East Watauga Avenue after someone in the residence called 9-1-1. Officers arrived just after one in the morning, where they sway Makalyn C. Simmons was in his motherís residence and had caused over 4-thousand dollars worth of damage. After a brief scuffle with police, Simmons was transported to the Washington County Detention Center on and eleven thousand dollar bond. (CC)
