Big Stone Gap Apartments
An Apartment building in Big Stone Gap has been torn down after catching fire on Friday evening. The building was empty and fire crews were able to keep it from spreading to other buildings close by. The age of the building left it vulnerable to collapse and it started to come down sometime Saturday afternoon. That is when crews decided that in the interest of safety to the citizens, it would be best to tear down the building the rest of the way. Investigators are looking in to what caused the fire. (CC)
