Man Arrested After Vandalized His Mother's Home
Johnson City Police say a 21-year-old man is in custody for Felony Vandalism and Resisting Arrest. Officers were called to a home on East Watauga Avenue after someone in the residence called 9-1-1. Officers arrived just after 1:00 AM, where they sway Makalyn C. Simmons was in his motherís residence and had caused over $4,000 worth of damage. After a brief scuffle with police, Simmons was transported to the Washington County Detention Center on and eleven thousand dollar bond.
