Sullivan Veteran Jet Ski Mission
A former soldier from Sullivan County finished his 16-hundred mile journey to New York City on the anniversary of the World Trade Center bombings. Joe Sakellar, along with other members of a special operation unit set out on the six day Jet Ski adventure that started in Key West. The journey was to honor and raise money for the men and women that serve our country. The charity called The Station Foundation supports special ops member and their families. Next year they plan to make it even bigger. The journey will go from Mexico to Canada. No work yet on if Sakeller will participate in that trip. (CC)
