New Police Chief
City Manager John Campbell has announced that they will remove the word interim from Kingsport Police Chief David Quillin is selected as the 14th Chief of Police in Kingsport. Over 40 candidates were considered for the position. Campbell says they had three candidates from the Kingsport Police Department. Quillin has served as a Deputy Chief since 2001. Quillin takes over the position from Gale Osborn who retired in May. (CC)
