Embezzlement Charge
Johnson City Police Department charged a woman with embezzlement from a retail store. 39-year-old Cari F. Clark of East Main Street faces charges of theft of property over 1-thousand dollars. Her arrest comes after an investigation into the embezzlement of funds from the Wal-Mart on West Market Street. Police say the embezzlement took place between the first and fifteenth of September. Clark was arrested and placed on a 10-thousand dollar bond. She made her first appearance in court on Tuesday for her arraignment. (CC)
