FT. Henry Fatal
Kingsport police are continuing to investigate a crash involving seven people and four cars, one of those involved died as a result. Police say 26-year-old Jeremy Sturgill was northbound on Fort Henry and failed to stop at the red light hitting a Malibu driven by 42-year-old Melissa Patton Lambert. This caused the Malibu to come in to contact with two other cars causing even more impact to the car. Sturgill and his juvenile passenger were sent to a local hospital to be treated for injuries. Lambert died at a local hospital as a result of injuries sustained. All others involved in the accident were not injured. Police have not released if any charges will be filed in the case. (CC)
