Hawkins County Commissioners Hope to Vote on Budget Tonight
The budget and county property tax rate will be looked at again as the Hawkins County Commission meets tonight. Commissioners hope some questions looming over the budget, mostly dealing with the school system, will have answers from the budget committee. In the proposed budget, the school systemís general funds will be reduced, but their transportation fund would increase. Commissioners will meet tonight at 7:00.
