Norton Man Sentenced
A Judge in Wise County has issued a verdict for a November 2012 shooting death that happened in Norton. Melquan Huntley, a former football player for UVA Wise, was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Jahnae Foster. The judge dropped the murder charges against Huntley saying that the prosecution did not prove that he acted with malice toward Foster. Police reports say Huntley was showing off a 9mm gun to those in the mobile home and it discharged hitting Foster in the head. (CC)
