Football ETSU
University officials at ETSU say an announcement on the location of a new football stadium should come before the end of October. The 18-million dollar project will seat 10-thousand fans. The university is still narrowing down potential sites, but says they are on target to have a site selected by the end of fall. Student fees are being used to fund the first phase of the project, which will cost almost 8-million dollars. The remainder of the funding will be from private donors and the state. (CC)
