New Jail For Sullivan County
A new Sheriff’s Liaison Committee is looking into the needs of Sullivan County, and members are considering the need for a new jail in Sullivan County. The newly formed group discussed some long term planning for a new jail. The group will be meeting at least once every quarter and is considered part of the county commission’s Administrative Committee. That committee looks into the budgeting requests for the Sheriff’s office. (CC)
