Domestic Assault
Johnson City police arrested a man after they caught him in the act of choking a female. Officers responded to 904 Long Street after a call from the female. When they arrived they heard screaming so they made entry into the home where they caught the man on top of the woman choking her. 44-year-old David Wright was arrested and charged with aggravated domestic assault. Wright is held on a 25-thousand dollar bond. (cc)
