Cattle Thieves Sentenced
Two men convicted of stealing cattle have been sentenced in a Hawkins County court. 30-year-old Dennis Lee Murrell of Rogersville and 27-year-old Dustin Anthony Halloway of Morristown stole nine cows in May of 2013, but were caught when the cows escaped and captured the attention of the police. Murrell will serve six years and Halloway will serve three years. Murell faces more time plus a fine for unrelated charges for the theft of a truck. (CC)
