BVU Outage
It was a small animal not the cold weather that left 2-thousand customers without power in Bristol, Virginia. The problem started at around ten on Thursday night. They say a raccoon got into a substation on Volunteer Parkway. It took 45 minutes to restore power to all customers. In Johnson City, a few customers in each section were without power. Crews were dispatched after midnight for about 40-customers who called to report outages. (CC)
