Help With Obamacare Signup
Southwest Virginia Community Health Systems say there will be two more opportunities to get help in navigating the healthcare.gov website in order to get health insurance. The website has had numerous problems and people have had little luck at getting through. Those that manage to get through often spend hours negotiating the site. This group says assisting others in navigating the site takes some of the stress out of the process. One volunteer says they are also having great luck using the 1-800-number for the signup. One difficult portion of the signup seems to be that people have a lot of questions about getting health care, but arenít aware they canít get those answers until they have entered all their personal information into the site so that available plans can be brought out. The group will be assisting at Twin Medical in Bristol on October 29th and Meadowview health clinic on November 7th. They will be on site from noon until six each evening. (CC)
