Thief Turns Self In To Police
He saw himself splashed across the media, and decided to turn himself in after stealing over 2-thousand dollars in property from a city barn. 21-year-old Stephen Chastain saw a video distributed by Kingsport Police in hopes of identifying the suspects involved in the theft. The two are accused of loading items from the Tranbarger Drive location into their pickup truck on October 18th. Among the items taken were a cement mixer, tractor equipment, and metal. More charges could be pending in the incident. Chastain contacted a lawyer after seeing the video and arranged to turn himself in to police. (CC)
