Authorities Still Searching for Shooter
It’s been a few days and Carter County Authorities still can’t find Tommy Brummitt. He’s accused of getting drunk and shooting into numerous homes in the county and wounding two people. Authorities already have his cousin, Michael Brummitt in custody for the same crime. Carter County Sheriff Chris Mathes believes Brummitt is close by, possibly in the Dry Creek Road area where he lives. They warn Brummitt could be armed and dangerous and ask if you have any information on where he might be, you should contact the Carter County Sheriff’s Office.
