Stoney Creek Man Dies in Mobile Home Fire
Carter County investigators are still looking into the cause of a fire that took the life of a Stoney Creek man earlier this morning. Carter County Sheriff Chris Mathes says the mobile home of 49-year old Jonathan Ray burned quickly and a body was found inside. Officials say the DeLorian Road home didnít have any electricity, but that a generator was being used and a gas can was found in the home. Autopsy results are still pending, but Mathes believes the body found is Rayís.
