Sullivan Co. Commissioner Expected to Discuss New Hwy
The Sullivan County Commission is scheduled to meet tonight and the new hot topic of a connector highway from the Volunteer Parkway to the exit 74 area near the hospital will no doubt come up for discussion. Mayor Steve Godsey says hed love to see the project become a reality, but there will be some obstacles - including cost. The next step will be to get support from the full commission to join Bristol, TN in asking the state for help studying future possibilities.
