Woman Charged With a Crime to Cover Up Another Crime
Brittany Knight called the Johnson City Police Department last night to report her 1996 Geo Metro had been stolen. Officers met her at the McDonald’s on North Roan Street to file the report. But after later investigation, authorities found out Knight had been in an accident just up the road at Interstate 26 and North Roan Street and she ran from the scene. Knight has been arrested on False Reporting and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. She’ll be in court this afternoon.
