Blue Cross Extends Service
If you are insured through Blue Cross Blue Shield Tennessee but were deemed invalid under the federal plan, there is good news for you…the insurance company says it plans to extend coverage. This option only applies to those currently enrolled with the company. The move comes after President Obama said companies can continue for one-year coverage under policies that don’t meet the new health care law requirements. Tennessee health care officials say they are glad there will be one more option in the marketplace, even if only for a year.(CC)
