Work Theft
An Elizabethton man is accused of stealing cash and merchandise from his employer. Johnson City police arrested Payden David Vines after the owner of the Scotchman on Broadway Street filed a report with police. The report says Vines was charged with theft of property over 1-thousand dollars. Vines is held on a 10-thousand dollar bond. Police say the 26-year-old man did turn himself in to police when he found out there was a warrant for his arrest. (CC)
