Biggest Meth Bust
It is being called the biggest meth bust in Carter County history. Sheriff's department officials found the lab at a home on Highway 19-E in Roan Mountain. Police had been investigating Timothy Blackwell for about two weeks before making the bust. Police found 50 one-pot meth labs. The residence where he was making the meth did not belong to him. Authorities are now saddled with the task of cleaning up the hazardous material from the labs. Police say they may have to call in extra help from professional cleaners. (CC)
